Sittelsdorf is a district of the Herrngiersdorf community in the Kelheim district in Lower Bavaria . Until 1972 it formed an independent municipality.

history
Sittelsdorf formed a chairman in the Duchy of Bavaria . In 1752 the place consisted of ten properties.
The municipality of Sittelsdorf, founded in 1818 with the Bavarian municipal edict, with the districts Altbach, Buchberg and Sittelsdorf belonged to the district of Rottenburg, district office and finally Rottenburg an der Laaber . On January 1, 1972, it was incorporated into the municipality of Herrngiersdorf as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
