Jozephus Johannes Antonius Franciscus "Sjef" van Run (born January 12, 1904 in Den Bosch , † December 17, 1973 in Eindhoven ) was a Dutch football player .
Career
society
Sjef van Run played in the youth team at VV Boxtel. He moved to PSV Eindhoven , where he remained active as a player for 16 years. During his time at PSV, he was team captain. He played his last game on September 6, 1942.
National team
In the national team of the Netherlands van Run made his debut on March 29, 1931 in the international match against Belgium . With the "Elftal" he took part in the 1934 World Cup in Italy .

Honors
