The island of Skaftö (also outdated Skaftölandet ) is located in the Lysekil archipelago in the municipality of Lysekil in the Swedish province of Västra Götalands län or the historical province (landskap) Bohuslän . The island is located about 100 kilometers north of Gothenburg by road.

Another place to Skaftö next to the part on the upstream small island Ösö lying Main place Grundsund is located in the northern part of the island resort Fiskebäckskil (with the located on the east side of the local district bay Ostsidan).
