The Skapliso Glacier ( Bulgarian Ледник Скаплизо Lednik Skapliso ) is a 4 km long and 1.5 km wide glacier on Clarence Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It flows from the slopes of Mount Irving and Duclos-Guyot Bluff on the west side of Urda Ridge south of Giridawa Glacier in a west-north-west direction to the Southern Ocean , which it reaches northeast of Chichil Point .

British scientists mapped it in 1972 and 2009. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2014 after the Thracian town of Skapliso in the south-west of what is now Bulgaria .
