The Kaniówka ski area is located on the summit and the northern slopes of Kotelnica and Wysoki Wierch in the Polish mountain range Pogórze Bukowińskie in the village of Białka Tatrzańska in the municipality of Bukowina Tatrzańska in the powiat Tatrzański in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship . It is located outside the Tatra National Park . The ski resort is operated by the company Stacja Narciarska Kaniówka Dziubas Władysław Wodziak Stanisław Sp.j. operated. It is directly adjacent to two other ski areas, the Bania ski area and the Kotelnica ski area , of which the latter is by far the largest of the three. The ski area is a member of the TatrySki association , which issues a joint ski pass.

The ski area is located at an altitude of 780 m above sea level to 870 m above sea level. The difference in altitude between the slopes is approx. 60 m. There are two blue and two green slopes. The total length of the slopes is approx. 1.2 km, with the longest slope being 450 m long.

history

The ski area was created in the 2012. The Kaniówka ski lift was built in the same year.

Ski lifts

There is a chair lift and four button lifts in the ski area. A total of up to 4620 people can be transported per hour, in the entire ski park 17,300.

Polana Szymoszkowa ski lifts

The ski lift leads from Białka Tatrzańska to just below the summit of Wysoki Wierch. Its length is approx. 450 m.

Ski slopes

Four ski slopes lead from Wysoki Wierch into the valley, two blue and two green.

Infrastructure

The ski area is approx. 15 km northeast of the center of Zakopane and can be reached by car. Voivodeship Road DK49 runs near the lower station. A municipal road runs near the upper stations. At the lower station there are parking spaces and a luxury hotel as well as the Terma Bania thermal baths . There is a ski school, ski rental and snow park in the ski area. There are also several restaurants in the ski area.
