The rural community of Skorradalur ( Icelandic Skorradalshreppur ) is a sparsely populated Icelandic community in the Vesturland region in western Iceland. On January 1, 2019, the community had 58 inhabitants.

Skorradalur is one of the few municipalities in Iceland without direct access to the sea. The municipality lies on both sides of the elongated lake Skorradalsvatn , which is located south of the Skorradalshál . In the extreme southwest of the municipality, on the border with Hvalfjarðarsveit , is the mountain Skarðsheiði . Botnsheiði lies in the southeast of the municipality .

Skorradalur borders in the north on the municipality Borgarbyggð , in the south on Hvalfjarðarsveit. Lake Reyðarvatn is east of the municipality .
