Slavebreed is a Greek deathgrind band from Athens that was formed in 2004.
history
The band was founded in late 2004 by guitarist Pavlos and drummer Kostas. In early 2007 the band recorded their first demo. Less than a year later, the band released their debut album Pain Syndicate on the Czech label L'Inphantile Collective in 2008. This was followed by several tours across Europe , where they worked with groups such as Napalm Death , Fear Factory , Entombed , Doom , Ratos de Porão , Birdflesh , Afgrund , Warcollapse , Mumakil , Rotten Sound and Severe Torture .
A split release followed in 2011 with Hibernation . The band also took the song Dog Eat Dog , a cover version of the Disrupt song that appeared on a Disrupt tribute album that was released on Power It Up Records . In the summer of 2012, the band released the second album Dethrone the Architect on L'Inphantile Collective. A mini-tour followed at the end of August, which included a total of eight concerts in Europe .
style
The band plays an aggressive mix of Death Metal and Grindcore , with some influences from Crustcore being audible.
