Smile is a pop song by the British singer Lily Allen , which was released on July 3, 2006 from her debut album Alright, Still . The title was written by Allen, Darren Lewis and Iyiola Bablola. Smile became a number one hit in the UK.

The song is about infidelity and revenge. Allen slips into the role of a betrayed woman who, with the help of accomplices , takes revenge on her ex-partner, played by Elliott Jordan in the accompanying video .
