Sheezus is the third studio album by British pop singer Lily Allen . It is the singer's first sound carrier after her announced music break in 2010.

On June 20, 2012, the singer announced that she would be working on new music with Greg Kurstin . Allen also wanted to change their stage name to Lily Cooper after their wedding , but their record company rejected this request because it was feared that the success of the future album could suffer from the name change.

In December 2013, the singer was announced as the newest artist on the Warner Bros. Records label, as her old record company Parlophone was taken over by them. In February 2014, Allen announced Sheezus as the title for her album in an interview on the Graham Norton Show . This is based on Kanye West's studio album Yeezus , as she feels great respect for this. She also announced May 5, 2014 as the album's release date in the UK .

Outcouplings

Hard out Here was chosen as the lead single for the album and was released worldwide on November 17, 2013, in German-speaking countries on January 17, 2014.

The second single, Air Balloon , premiered on January 13, 2014 on BBC1 . It was first published on January 31, 2014.

The third release Our Time , including the music video, was released on March 10, 2014.

On May 26, 2014, the singer announced URL Badman as the fourth single on the album, which was released on July 13, 2014, followed shortly after by As Long As I Got You .

More singles

On April 23, 2014, the music video for the promotional single Sheezus was posted on the Internet. The title holder of the album was not released as an official single, the reason for this is the word period , which is in the second stanza of the text.
