history

The band was formed in 1990 by G "Suave" (aka Rodan Tha Thinker), Darren "D-Smooth" Lolk (guitar), Money Mike (bass), Curtis "Mr." Watts (drums, keyboards, backing vocals), Spank Dog ( Programming, scratches, background vocals) and Peter "Ajoe" Jorge (programming, background vocals).

As a group, the members continued to work with other artists, e. B. Ziggy Marley and KRS-One . At the beginning they released the single Playing 'Foolz on the label Epic Records . The music is influenced by hip-hop , alternative rock , funk , reggae , jazz and metal .

The band contributed the title Cuz I'm Like Dat to the film Street Fighter II - The Animated Movie . Due to various creative differences within the group and due to many frustrations about the musical style, the band broke up in 1994.

Most of the members tried solo careers. Watts became a producer and solo artist, Suave became the Christian rapper Rodan Tha Thinker in the band True 2 Life together with Jorge and the DJ Wrex. Lolk played Pete Townshend in The Who - tribute band called The Who Show and is now in the Chicano punk band Viva Malpache .

In Germany the band was best known for their hit Mutha Made 'em .
