Smolec (German Schmolz ) is a village in the municipality of Kąty Wrocławskie ( Kant ) in the Powiat Wrocławski in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in Poland. The village is located southwest of Wroclaw and directly borders the city. The Wrocław – Wałbrzych railway runs through the village .
