The Snøfuglborga ( Norwegian for snow Vogelburg ; Japanese 雪鳥とりで山 Yukidori-toride Yama , German , Snow Petrel fortress mountain ' is, depending on the perspective, a) 1749 m high Table Mountain or Nunatak in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In the mountains of Sør Rondane it rises on the northeastern foothills of Otto Borchgrevinkfjellet .
Japanese scientists took aerial photographs between 1981 and 1982 and 1986, and carried out surveys in 1986 and 1990 . They named it in 1988. Norwegian scientists translated this name into Norwegian.
