Snooker Hall of Fame

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Snooker Hall of Fame was re-established in 2011 by World Snooker from the snooker and English Billiards umbrella organization World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association ( WPBSA ). Both deceased and living and active players are accepted. The brothers Joe and Fred Davis were the only ones who were world champions in both disciplines.

Eight players were accepted in the founding year. Four more players were added in 2012, seven in 2013 and two more in 2014.

The first non-European players were Neil Robertson from Australia (2013), the Canadian Cliff Thorburn (2014) and the Thai Sindhu Pulsirivong (2016), who was President of the World Confederation of Billiard Sports (WCBS) from 1998 to 2000 .
