The Snowy Point ( English for Snowy Peak ) is a moderately rising headland in East Antarctic Victoria Land . At the southern end of the Deep Freeze Range , southeast of Cape Sastrugi and north of the Northern Foothills , it marks the north side of the western entrance from the Nansen ice table to Browning Pass .
The so-called northern group of the British Terra Nova Expedition (1910-1913) under the direction of the British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott explored them and named them descriptively.
