from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is what it sounds like here in the Arzgebirg is an Erzgebirge Christmas program by Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk , which has been broadcast annually on Christmas Eve since 1992 . It is from the Thalheimerin Marianne Martin and since 2017 jointly by Marianne Martin and from Bermsgrün coming opera singer Annett Illig in Erzgebirge moderated dialect.

Various dialect groups and singers from the Ore Mountains appear regularly in the program, interrupted by little stories about Christmas. Regular actors are, for example, the Erzgebirgsensemble Aue , Joachim Süß and his ensemble , the mountain singers Geyer and De Hutzenbossen . The Ore Mountains customs are an integral part of the program ; carvers and lace makers are regular guests.

history

Until 2010, the program was broadcast up to four times a year and presented the Ore Mountains and their home groups as the seasons change. After that, the format was reduced to an annual broadcast on Christmas Eve. The broadcast has been recorded in various locations over the years; since 2017 this has been the "Lebenswerkstatthof" in Mildenau .

The predecessor of the Christmas Eve program was the GDR television program “ Ihr Leitle freit eich alle ”, produced by Heinz Quermann from 1984 to 1990 , in which Marianne Martin could already be seen as a presenter.
