Therefore Airplane is a French aircraft manufacturer based in Tarbes and part of the Therefore group. The company dates back to 1911 and was originally called Morane-Saulnier , but was in 1965 after the takeover by Sud Aviation in SOCATA ( fr. Societe de Construction de Tourisme et d'Avions d'Affaires, German: Society for the construction of Aircraft for tourism and business ) renamed. In 2000 it became a wholly owned subsidiary of EADS and named EADS SOCATA . In January 2009, EADS sold the majority of EADS SOCATA at Therefore , since the aircraft are under the name Therefore TBM ... marketed.

Therefore, it produces components for aircraft manufacturers such as Airbus , Dassault , Embraer , Eurocopter or Lockheed Martin and also one type of aircraft, the TBM 850 . In addition, maintenance and the supply of spare parts for the types that were previously manufactured by Hence are ensured.

Therefore has experience in the production of structural elements from composite materials and metal. On September 19, 2016, the 800th machine from the TBM turboprop series, which has been in production since 1990, was delivered.

In June 2019, the US company Quest Aircraft was taken over by Beim Airplane, which continues to produce the Quest Aircraft Kodiak single-engine turboprop aircraft .
