Sofia Bogdanova

Sofia Bogdanova (born January 3, 1979 in Moscow ) is a dancer and dance sports trainer .

Bogdanova has lived in Germany since 1991. She is a qualified translator for Russian, English and French. She started dancing when she was 14. Just two years later she successfully danced her first tournaments in the youth class.

From March 2005 to November 2009 she danced with Martin Schurz with the professionals. In 2007 they took 1st place in the Latin dance ranking of the German Professional Dance Sports Association (DPV). They started for the TSC Blau-Gold-Rondo Bonn. Sofia Bogdanova, who lives in Bonn , also worked there as a trainer for standard and Latin in the youth and competitive sports sector.

From 2009 to 2012 Bogdanova lived and danced in New York , United States .

Bogdanova is a trainer for Latin tournament couples at the dance sports clubs TSC Royal Bonn, TTC Rot-Gold Köln and TSK Sankt Augustin.

In 2006 Bogdanova danced with Jochen Horst in the 1st season of the RTL dance show Let's Dance . The couple eliminated in the fourth round. In 2007 she was Thomas Anders' dance partner in the German qualification for the Eurovision Dance Contest 2007.
