Sofia Tanghetti took part in the Junior Rowing World Championships for the first and only time in her career in 2017 . At the Junior World Championships 2017 in Trakai started as part of the double fours. In addition to her, Laura Pagnoncelli , Greta Martinelli and Maria Ludovica Costa were on the boat's crew.
