Sofian Benzouien (born August 11, 1986 in Sint-Agatha-Berchem , Belgium ) is a Belgian- Moroccan football player .

Career

Benzouien was trained in the youth academy of the RSC Anderlecht before he played in the second highest Belgian class for 2 years in 2004 for the Belgian club KVV Heusden-Zolder . During this time Sofian Benzouien also played in the U-20 national team of Morocco. He then moved to FC Brussels , where he only played for half a year. Then was Racing Santander B his employer, where he stood only 6 months under contract. Before he went back to his native Belgium, he played for the Italian third division club AC Perugia Calcio . In Belgium he was then under contract with KAS Eupen , where he could not really convince, as he could only score one goal in 30 competitive games. After a year he went to his current club F91 Dudelange , with which he has won several titles, as well as made his debut in the Europa League . In the summer of 2019, he then moved to the second division Swift Hesperingen , where he took over the post of sports director and is available to the team as a stand-by player.
