Sofie Natalie Skoog (born June 7, 1990 in Ekshärad , Hagfors ) is a Swedish high jumper .
Athletic career
In 2013 Sofie Skoog took part in the Student World Games in Kazan , where she came ninth in the final. At the European Indoor Championships in Prague 2015, as well as at the World Championships in Beijing , she was eliminated from the qualification. In 2016 she finished fifth at the World Indoor Championships in Portland and at the European Championships in Amsterdam she finished ninth with a jump of 1.89 m. She finished seventh in the final at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro .
In 2017 she qualified for the European Indoor Championships in Belgrade , but was eliminated in the qualification there. At the Diamond League Meeting in Stockholm , she equalized her best of 1.94 and qualified for the World Championships in London .
In 2015 and 2016 she became Swedish champion both indoors and outdoors.
