The Softlab Group was a German IT consulting and service company.

The Softlab Group (the name is an acronym formed from the terms software and laboratory ) was founded in 1971 in Munich by Klaus Neugebauer , Gerhard Heldmann and Peter Schnupp . BMW was sole shareholder from 1992 to September 30, 2008 . Effective October 1, 2008, BMW AG sold 74.9% of the shares in NTT Data .

The company's headquarters were in Munich- Zamdorf . The Softlab Group also had branches in Ettlingen , Frankfurt , Cologne , Hanover and Hamburg as well as Vienna , Bern , Zurich , Birmingham , London and Atlanta .

In 2006 the Softlab Group achieved a turnover of 266 million euros with around 1700 employees.

The following individual companies belonged to the Softlab Group until December 31, 2007:

as well as other subsidiaries. In January 2008, the companies of the Softlab Group were merged to form Cirquent GmbH. From April 1, 2012, Cirquent was gradually merged with its European sister companies Keane, Intelligroup and Value Team under the NTT DATA brand. Only Silverstroke GmbH (until 2009: Silverstroke AG), which won the RFID Award of the VDEB Verband IT-Mittelstand eV in 2008, remained an independent subsidiary until 2012, before part was integrated and part was sold to TAGnology RFID GmbH has been.
