The Soilmec SpA is an international Italian manufacturer of Construction Equipment . The company, based in Cesena , is represented internationally with twelve subsidiaries and achieved sales of EUR 346.3 million in 2008 with around 1,300 employees. Soilmec is a subsidiary of the Italian TreviGroup .
The company produces, among other things on crawler and truck chassis mounted hydraulic rotary drilling rigs, cultivation drills for cranes, hydraulic continuous flight auger drilling equipment , hydraulic diaphragm wall grab , rope diaphragm wall grab, cranes , anchoring, micro-pile drilling, tunneling machines , piping machines , molding machines, hydraulic vibrators, drilling tools, concrete pumps , bentonite - and polymer suspension equipment, HDI high-pressure pumps , injection units and other products and processes, especially for drilling work.
Soilmec was founded in 1969 by the brothers Davide and Gianluigi Trevisani. The company was responsible for construction machinery production within the Pali Trevisani (today TreviGroup) founded by Davide Trevisani in 1957 .
