Solotarjowo ( Ukrainian Золотарьово ; Russian Золотарево Solotarjewo , Hungarian Ötvösfalva , Slovak Zlatáry, Zolotarjevo ) is a village in the Ukrainian Zakarpattia Oblast with about 4200 inhabitants (2004).
Solotarjowo is the only place in the 24.26 km² district council of the same name in the east of Khust district .
The village is located in the Forest Carpathians at an altitude of 319 m , 24 km west of the Khust district center . The Oblastzentrum Uzhhorod is located 135 km northwest of the village.
The village was first mentioned in writing in 1414. Until 1919, the village belonged to the Kingdom of Hungary within the Empire of Austria-Hungary and then as part of the Carpathian-Ukraine to Czechoslovakia . With the annexation, Solotarjowo came back to Hungary in 1939–1945, and from 1945 the village belonged to the Ukrainian SSR within the Soviet Union . Since 1991, Zolotaryovo has been part of independent Ukraine.
