The Solthörn is a former German sea sign ship.
history
The ship was under the hull number 6202 on the shipyard Abeking & Rasmussen built and put into service the 1,967th It was used by the Bremerhaven Waterways and Shipping Authority on the Lower and Outer Weser for the supply and maintenance of the lighthouses as well as the supply and control of fixed and floating sea marks.
The ship was decommissioned after the new Alte Weser building was put into service at the end of 2008 . In May 2009 it was sold on Vebeg for 182,000 euros and renamed Thor .
Technical data and equipment
The ship is of two MTU - Diesel Engines : with a (type 12V 183 TE62) performance of each of 405 kW driven. It reaches a speed of 13.5 knots .
