Someone like Me is a song that the last single on the third album Ladies Night , the British pop - girl group Atomic Kitten appeared. It was coupled with a current version of the debut single Right Now and was planned as the last single in the band's history. However, Atomic Kitten released three more singles in 2005, 2006 and 2008 with Cradle 2005 , All Together Now and Anyone Who Had a Heart .

When Atomic Kitten took a break in 2004, they released the singles Someone like Me / Right Now in 2004 as a kind of "parting gift" for their fans .

Someone Like Me was written by Ciaron Bell and band member Liz McClarnon and produced by Bell. A small change has been made for the release of Someone Like Me . McClarnon performs the opening and the second verse on the album version of the song. For the single version, McClarnon's vocals were removed from the second verse and replaced by Jenny Frosts .

Music video

In the music video for Someone Like Me , McClarnon, Frost and Natasha Hamilton appear dressed in white in a plain white room. While McClarnon plays the piano in the opening sequence , Frost and Hamilton are lying on a sofa. While the camera is pointing at the women from outside the room, a door opens. The style of the video is kept simple and basic.
