Kerry Katona
Kerry Jayne Elizabeth Katona (born September 6, 1980 in Warrington , Cheshire ) is a British singer , actress , author , columnist and television presenter . She is a founding member of the British pop - girl group Atomic Kitten .
Life
Kerry Katona was raised in part by her mother Sue Katona and her stepfather, but also by a foster grandmother and other people. As a child, she was raised by four different foster parents. During this time she attended eight different schools. Katona left school without a degree to become a lap dancer at the age of 16 and became a member of a dance troupe that traveled across Europe .
Career
Atomic kitten
Katona became known alongside Liz McClarnon and Heidi Range as a founding member of the girl group Atomic Kitten. In 2001 she left the band due to her first pregnancy and was replaced by Jenny Frost . After the release of the third album, Natasha Hamilton , Liz McClarnon and Frost decided to take a break in 2004. In 2005, 2006 and 2008 there were brief reunions for the publication of charity songs. At the beginning of 2012, plans for a reunion were announced, which were later rejected because of the differences between Frost and Katona. In the end, however, the reunion came about when Atomic Kitten took part in the documentary The Big Reunion , broadcast by British broadcaster ITV2 in early 2013 . The cast brought about a change, however; so Katona was there again instead of Frost. On March 28, 2013, Hamilton announced that Frost would also be welcome for a comeback at any time.

After marrying former Westlife member Brian McFadden , Katona went to television and took part in shows like Britain's Sexiest ... , Loose Women and elimiDATE . In February 2004, Katona won the third season of I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! the UK version of the TV show I'm a Celebrity - Get Me Out of Here! and finished second on Celebrity Big Brother in September 2011 . Also in 2011 she took part in the sixth season of the figure skating show Dancing on Ice .
Personal
Brian McFadden (2002-2006)
On January 5, 2002, Katona married former Westlife member Brian McFadden in Rathfeigh, Ireland, and took his last name. They spent their honeymoon in Mauritius . From this relationship come two daughters, Molly Marie McFadden (born August 31, 2001 in Dublin ) and Lilly-Sue McFadden (born February 3, 2003 in Dublin).
McFadden and Katona separated in September 2004 and Katona took on her maiden name again.
Mark Croft (2007-2010)
On February 14, 2007, Katona married the taxi driver Mark Croft, but kept her maiden name. Six days later, on February 20, 2007, their first daughter, Heidi Elizabeth Croft, was born six weeks before the expected due date. Their fourth child, Maxwell Mark Croft, was born on April 11, 2008.
After the couple separated for the first time in spring 2009, Katona and Croft finally separated in February 2010.
