Sonderheim is a district of the town of Höchstädt an der Donau in the district of Dillingen an der Donau ( Bavaria ).
location
The parish village is on the Blindheimer Hochterrasse and on the Klosterbach , just under two kilometers northeast of Höchstädt. East, south and west of the town are in the surge numerous ponds for flood relief, which are also used fish economical.
history
Archaeological finds from the Bronze Age attest to early settlement of the area.
The Bavarian original cadastre shows Sonderheim in the 1810s with 27 hearths rather than a street village south of the church and its sacred ground .
On May 1, 1978, the previously independent community of Sonderheim was incorporated into Höchstädt as part of the municipal area reform.
