Sonnenalpe Nassfeld

Sonnenalpe Nassfeld is a district of the municipality of Hermagor-Pressegger See in the state of Carinthia in the Republic of Austria , located immediately north of the Nassfeld Pass . The place is characterized by winter tourism and has 46 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020).

Just like the towns of Pressegger See and Sonnleitn , which are also part of the municipality, Sonnenalpe Nassfeld is also a town whose origins go back to tourism. The center of the village is at an altitude of about 1510 meters, the highest part of the village is at 1530 meters on the Nassfeld Pass, right on the border with Italy .
