Sorry, We're Open (dt. Sorry, we are open ) is the third studio album by the Berlin indie rock - band Bonaparte . It was published on August 17, 2012 by Staatsakt .
Creation and publication
For the first time in the band's history, the album was not recorded on the computer, but in its own recording studio . There were also differences in the choice of label compared to the previous albums. Although the album was still recorded on the Staatsakt label, distribution and marketing was taken over by the major Warner label . Housemeister (for the song Quarantine ), Siriusmo (for Point & Shoot ) and Deichkind (for everything already seen ) could be won for collaborations . The album was released on August 17, 2012. As a pre-release, the single Quarantine was released on August 3, 2012.

reception
The album was recorded mixed by music critics , but the reviews were mostly positive.
Mara Brugger from Laut.de gives the album four out of five possible stars and says that the album simply makes you happy. The cooperation with Deichkind is particularly praised.
Fritz.de also awards four out of five stars and praises the songwriting, the production and the depth of Sorry, We're Open . The collaborations are also described as very appropriate.
Plattentests.de gives a mixed rating with five out of ten points . Critic Thomas Pilgrim criticizes that the album is not musically subtle enough and that the music is exhausted after about halfway through the album.
Jan Freitag from the newspaper Die Zeit complains that the songs that work live could not spark the same mood on the album and that the band did not use their talents consistently. So it happens that the quality decreases towards the end.
