The Sostra Heights ( Bulgarian Состренски възвишения Sostrenski waswischenija ) are a mountain range in Mount Malone up to 2460 m high in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . On the east side of the northern Sentinel Range in the Ellsworth Mountains , it rises in a northwest-southeast orientation 22 km long and 16.5 km wide north of the Embree Glacier , east of the Sabazios Glacier , south of the Newcomer Glacier and west of the Rutford Ice Stream . The Robinson Passin the southwest separates it from a mountain ridge that branches off from Mount Dalrymple in the main ridge of the Sentinel Range over a length of 9.15 km in an east-northeast direction.
American scientists mapped the mountain range in 1961. In 2014, the Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it after the Roman camp Sostra in northern Bulgaria .
