Southern Cross Expedition / Crew List
The Southern Cross Expedition (1898–1900) was a research trip to the Antarctic during the so-called "Golden Age of Antarctic Research" . It is also run as the British Antarctic Expedition (BAE), although almost the entire crew came from Norway. While the landing crew hibernated at Cape Adare , the ship's crew returned to Australia in the meantime.
