The Sowers Glacier is a glacier in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . It flows from a prominent basin on the eastern slope of Mount Craddock between the Willis Ridge and Mount Osborne ridge in the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains through to the Thomas Glacier .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 2006 after the US climate researcher Todd A. Sowers from Pennsylvania State University , who carried out studies on climatic changes in Antarctica using ice cores between 1991 and 2006.
