The Spielvereinigung 06 Trossingen eV is a German sports club based in the Baden-Württemberg town of Trossingen in Tuttlingen district .

history

post war period

In the first regional league season after the Second World War , the team was able to qualify as champions of the league as promoted to the Oberliga Südwest . There the club was incorporated into the group south for the 1947/48 season and rose as the penultimate with 10:34 points, however, immediately again. Back in the national league, the team rose as the third in the group north at the end of the 1948/49 season, but again on the league. The 1949/50 season could then be finished in 15th place. Due to the decrease in the number of participants for the next season, however, only a few clubs could hold the class anyway.

From the 1950/51 season, the team played in the 1st Amateur League Württemberg . The first season ended in 12th place. After the 1951/52 season , however, the team rose to 17th place and thus as the last of the table even in the 2nd amateur league. There the team was able to hold its own relatively well. In the 1945/55 season, the club was able to qualify for the WFV-Pokal and it was in 1960 there was also a game against 1. FC Kaiserslautern , whose squad included Fritz Walter ; Kaiserslautern won the game 11: 1 in front of 1000 spectators.

For the 1963/64 season , the promotion to the 1st Amateur League Black Forest-Bodensee was successful . With 16:48 points and 16th place, it was over again after one season. The other years then shaped placements in the midfield. After the 1975/76 season it even went down to the B-Class . In 1980, however, the rise finally succeeded again. After that there were always different league affiliations.

1990s until today

At least from the 1991/92 season to the 1993/94 season, the team played in the Black Forest district league , from which they had to relegate to the A district league as 14th after the last season mentioned. After the next season, the first place could also celebrate the direct return to the rankings. After the season that followed, relegation was sealed again with 15th place. This was followed by two seasons, after which the club found itself in fifth place. Only after the 1998/99 season succeeded with the first place promotion to the district league again.

This was to be followed by a rapid ascent at the end of the 2001/02 season even being promoted to the national league. However, the club was only able to stay there for one season and was relegated directly to 13th place. Since then, the team has been playing in the district league again and thus ranks fifth in the all-time table of this league.
