action

A Russian space station for research into alternative energy sources threatens to leave its orbit. A four-person rescue team is sent to the station. The team includes government agents Jeffries and Jack McKendrick and Ed Carpenter, who used to work as an astronaut for NASA .

The situation comes to a head when the station is hit by meteorites. The oxygen supply is only sufficient for a few hours.

In one strand of the plot, secret agent Jeffries fights against the killers who work for another organization. They want to kill him in a motel, the room furnishings are riddled with bullets. Jeffries kills the killers. He then calls his headquarters, where he demands a team to clean up and a new television.

The astronauts discover that the mission was targeted by a saboteur. One of the Russian crew members hijacked the space shuttle with which he escaped.

criticism

Yourvideostoreshelf.com wrote that Steve Latshaw could make a good screenwriter, but criticized the film's low budget. It is "refreshing" within its genre. The scenes with Ice-T and the "very un-Russian" way of acting of Robert Donovan were criticized.

"Cheap film by the assembly line director Fred Olen Ray [...], who reactivates the veterans of his decidedly cheap film makers."
