action
Ted and his gang rob a bank and hide the loot. When he is fatally wounded by his accomplices, he gives Joe, a poor prairie hunter, a map that leads to the hiding place. The rest of the gang, now under leader Jack, capture Joe and torture him to find out what he knows. Because of tormenting with a torch, he goes blind. His love, the saloon owner Rosy, is also used against him; When the bandits supposedly lead Joe and Rosy to their hideout, he is ambushed and the card is stolen.
When Joe can see again, he takes up the fight against the bandits, which Rosy uses to flee with the money now in the group's possession. She had an accident while crossing a river. The money also swims away. Joe is left alone and poor.
criticism
The “Segnalazione Cinematografiche” see the attempt of history to be original. But the film only offers the well-known characters and situations, is flat and colorless, exhausts itself in sadistic brawls and vulgar jokes. Genre connoisseur Christian Keßler also remarks, "Miraglia (the director) seems to have had relatively little feeling for the western genre, because although the film is reasonably appealing based on its meticulous plot, it is nevertheless structured too carefully and lacks action scenes."
