Spas ( Ukrainian Спас ; Russian Спас , Polish Ispas ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast Ivano-Frankivsk with about 3000 inhabitants (2001).
The village, first mentioned in writing in 1469, is the only village in the district council of the same name in the south of Kolomyja Rajon .
The village is located in the east of the historical Galicia on the banks of the Pistynka ( Пістинька ), a 56 km long tributary of the Prut 13 km south of the Kolomyja district center and 70 km southeast of the Ivano-Frankivsk oblast center .
The territorial road T – 09–15 runs through the village .
