Vi-Dan Tran
Vi-Dan Tran (* 1984 in Cologne ) is a German director , cameraman , actor , producer, stunt performer and web video producer .
Career
One of Trans's best-known works is the Star Wars fan film Darth Maul: Apprentice from 2016, which he shot in collaboration with Shawn Bu and in which he a. a. Action choreography and camera took over. The film achieved several million clicks on YouTube in a very short time and was awarded the Germany Web Video Prize in the category Best Video of The Year in 2016. The film had been viewed over 20 million times on their joint YouTube channel T7Pro by June 2019.
Since 2012, Tran has also worked for stunt movies, including Cloud Atlas , Skyfall and The Foreigner , on which he worked with Jackie Chan . Tran has been a permanent member of the Jackie Chan stunt team ever since.
For the rapper Motrip and the singer Lena Meyer-Landrut , he produced several music videos that were also viewed millions of times .
