Spitzingsee is a church village in Upper Bavaria on the east bank of the Spitzingsee . The place is part of the municipality of Markt Schliersee to the north in the south of the Miesbach district in Bavaria.

geography

The main part of the place is at an altitude of 1091 meters above sea level and has about 200 inhabitants.

This part of the community includes several alpine pastures (e.g. Firstalm ), mountain huts and the Spitzingsee ski area including numerous lifts (e.g. Stümpflingbahn , Taubensteinbahn ).
