The Spitzingsattel is 1129  m above sea level. NN high mountain pass in the Bavarian Alps , part of the Alps in the south of Bavaria , Germany .

Geographical location

The Spitzingsattel is located in the Miesbach district in the Mangfall Mountains about 7 km (as the crow flies ) north of the border with Austria . It is a few hundred meters from the north shore of the Spitzingsee ( 1084  m above sea level ) and is east of the Brecherspitz ( 1683  m above sea level ) and west of the Jägerkamp ( 1745.9  m above sea level ). The pass is located in a valley south of the arcane to the community Schliersee belonging Fischhausen - Neuhaus , district Josefstal through which leads a narrow side street.
