The Stümpfling is a 1506 m high mountain in the Bavarian Prealps . It is located in the Schlierseer Mountains in the Mangfall Mountains . The mountain can be reached as an easy mountain hike from the Spitzingsee or from the Wildbachhütte. The Suttenbahn and Stümpflingbahn cable cars lead to just below the summit .
In December 2014, a newly built high storage facility for the Slyrs whiskey distillery was inaugurated near the mountain station of the Stümpflingbahn , which can hold up to 40 barrels of 225 liters each. Under the special climatic conditions on the mountain, the whiskey stored here should develop a different taste than that stored in the valley.
Since 2013 there has been a cabaret "Sermon on the Mount" at the Stümpfling at least once a year - in good weather also before - the "Jagahütt'n", hosted by Andreas Rebers ; Guests were u. a. already Willy Astor , Monika Gruber , Andreas Martin Hofmeir , Bruno Jonas , the Well brothers and their female counterpart, the Wellküren (as of July 2018).
