Andreas Rebers (born January 7, 1958 in Westerbrak , Lower Saxony ) is a German cabaret artist , author , musician and composer .

Rebers grew up in the Weserbergland in Lower Saxony , where he found his first musical field of activity with the “Los Promillos” band at shooting festivals, fire brigade fun and club festivals.

During my studies at the University of Hanover, I made my first contact with the independent theater scene and cabaret. From 1984 to 1988 he studied the accordion with Thomas Assmus. From 1989 to 1997 he was the musical director of the theater at the Braunschweig State Theater . Rebers is the author of chansons, songs and cabaret programs as well as the composer of stage and drama music. Engagements took him to Hanover, Braunschweig, Krefeld, Basel, Zurich and Munich. He completed cabaret guest appearances in the entire German-speaking area.

In 1996 he gave his first guest appearance in the Munich Lach- und Schießgesellschaft , whose ensemble he was an author and actor from 1997 to 1999. He toured Germany and participated in radio features and programs such as “ Roglers Freiheit”, “Satirefest”, “ Scheibenwischer ” and “ Satire Gipfel ”. Rebers had joint appearances with Urban Priol , Achim Konejung , Bruno Jonas and Josef Hader .

Since 2007 he has repeatedly received invitations to cabaret evenings abroad, which are carried out by the Federal Foreign Office together with the Goethe Institute or German schools abroad . B. Belgrade cabaret evening , Lisbon cabaret evening . There were other guest performances in cooperation with the diplomatic missions in Milan (2011) and Sofia (2012).

There are also regular appearances in television cabaret programs such as Neues aus der Anstalt , the Satire Gipfel , nuhr im Erste , Ottis Schlachthof and Cabaret from Franconia, as well as guest appearances in radio cabaret programs such as Querköpfe in DLF , the radioSpitzen on Bayern 2 or kabarett directly on Ö1 .

While he used to accompany himself on the grand piano and with the accordion, in his current programs he uses an electric piano ( Yamaha Clavinova ) and a rhythm machine ( Korg MiniPops 7, built in 1969).

Rebers lives with his family in Munich . He appears in cabaret theaters in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and South Tyrol.
