The community is located on the edge of the Vogler , in the middle of the Weserbergland . Kirchbrak is located on the Lenne River .

The municipality of Kirchbrak borders Halle in the north, Dielmissen , Lüerdissen and the city of Eschershausen in the east, Holenberg and Golmbach in the south and the city of Bodenwerder in the west .

The "villa Bracha" is listed in a confirmation of ownership for the Martinistift Minden , which Konrad II issued in 1029.
