Hans-Udo Hermann Georg von Grone (born December 29, 1886 in Kirchbrak , † July 30, 1968 in Wienhausen ) was a German farmer and politician ( DNVP , NSDAP ).

Grone studied in Munich, Kiel and Göttingen. After completing his studies, he joined the Prussian administration in 1912. As a participant in the First World War , he lost his right arm before Verdun in 1916 . In 1917 he became a government assessor in Merseburg . From 1919 he worked at the Reich grain agency in Berlin . After retiring from civil service in 1922, he worked as a farmer in Kirchbrak, where he managed a manor.

From December 24, 1924 to January 21, 1926, he was Minister of State for Finance in the government of the Free State of Braunschweig led by Chairman Gerhard Marquordt . At the same time he was Braunschweig's deputy representative to the Reichsrat from 1925 to 1926 . From March 1926, when he replaced the resigned MP Karl Willeke , until 1933 he was a member of the Braunschweig State Parliament for the DNVP , and from 1926 to 1927 he was a member of the parliamentary working group of the national parties and the business association (parliamentary group). In the 1930 election he was elected to the state parliament via the civil unity list. On April 29, 1933, he switched to the NSDAP.
