Triebelsheide is a location in the Uellendahl-Katernberg district of Wuppertal in the Siebeneick residential area .
Location and description
The Triebelsheide, which has become part of the closed residential development, is located in the south of Siebeneick in the area of today's residential streets Treibelsheide and Triebelsheider Weg . Neighboring locations are Triebel , Alter Triebel , Krieg , Am Lindgen , Krähenberg , Jungmannshof , Steingeshof , Wüstenhof , Schevenhof and Wolfsholz . The abandoned farms include Elsternbusch and Schanze , residential areas that have merged into today's residential areas are Branger , Vogelsbruch , Metzmachersrath , Röttgen , In den Birken and Grenz Jagdhaus .
history
The place is marked on the topographical survey of the Rhineland from 1824 as Trebel and on the Prussian first survey from 1843 as Neuebrand .
In the 19th century belonged Triebelsheide as a border town to both the peasantry Small height and to the peasantry top seven Eick of the mayoralty Hardenberg established in 1935 Neviges has been renamed. From 1816 to 1861 it belonged to the Elberfeld district and from 1861 to the old Mettmann district .
In 1888, 16 people lived in one house in the part of Triebelsheide that belonged to Kleine Höhe, and eleven people lived in two houses in the part that belonged to Obensiebeneick.
With the municipal reform of 1929, the southeastern part of Obensiebeneick around Treibelsheide was split off and incorporated into the newly founded city of Wuppertal together with southern Dönberger villages, the rest of Obensiebeneick initially remained with Neviges. Due to the regional reform of North Rhine-Westphalia , Neviges came to the city of Velbert at the beginning of 1975 and the rest of Obensiebeneick was also incorporated into Wuppertal.
