With the municipal reform of 1929, the southeastern part of Obensiebeneick was split off around Wolfsholz and incorporated into the newly founded city of Wuppertal together with southern Dönberger villages, the rest of Obensiebeneick initially remained with Neviges. Due to the regional reform of North Rhine-Westphalia , Neviges came to the city of Velbert at the beginning of 1975 and the rest of Obensiebeneick was also incorporated into Wuppertal.
A street Wolfsholz was named in 1935.
