Jägerkamp

The Jägerkamp is a 1,746 meter high mountain in the Schlierseer Mountains , a subgroup of the Bavarian Prealps .

Location and surroundings

The mountain lies east of the Spitzingsee and south of Neuhaus in the municipality of Schliersee . In the east a ridge leads over the Benzingspitz (1,735 m) to the Aiplspitz . In the south lies the Taubenstein ski area , in the west the Brecherspitze is separated by the Spitzingsattel .

Routes

  • northern ascent from Aurach via Benzingalm and Jägerbauernalm. The latter can also be reached from the west from the Spitzingsattel.
  • south-east ascent over the chives moss alp. This can be reached both from the southwest from the Spitzingsattel and from the south from the mountain station of the Taubensteinbahn .

In winter, the Jägerkamp is often climbed as part of a ski tour.
