Marek Solarczyk (born April 13, 1967 in Wołomin ) is auxiliary bishop in Warsaw-Praga .

Life

The son of Henryk and Marianna Solarczyk attended the primary school in Duczki near Wołomin and then the technical center in Warsaw . After graduating from high school in 1986, he entered the seminary in Warsaw. The Bishop of Warsaw-Praga , Kazimierz Romaniuk , ordained him a priest on May 28, 1992 . It was the first year of ordination in the new diocese in whose clergy Solarczyk was incardinated . From 1993 to 2003 he was vicar at the Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Florian in Warsaw-Praga. In 1999 he received his doctorate in theology from the Pontifical Theological Faculty in Warsaw.

On June 22, 2005, Bishop Sławoj Leszek Głódź appointed him sub-rain of the seminary. In December 2006 he became cathedral capitular and on June 26, 2009 cathedral priest.

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on October 8, 2011 auxiliary bishop in Warsaw-Praga and at the same time titular bishop of Hólar . The episcopal ordination donated him on 19 November of the same year the Archbishop Henryk Hoser ; Co- consecrators were the emeritus Bishop of Warsaw-Praga, Kazimierz Romaniuk and the Archbishop of Danzig , Sławoj Leszek Głódź. As a motto he chose Omnia possibilia credenti .
