The Diocese of Warsaw-Praga ( Latin Dioecesis Varsaviensis-Pragensis , Polish Diecezja warszawsko-Praska ) is in Poland located diocese of the Roman Catholic Church based in Praga , eastern district of Warsaw .

history

Pope John Paul II founded it with the Apostolic Constitution Totus tuus Poloniae populus on March 25, 1992 from cessions of territory from the diocese of Płock and the Archdiocese of Warsaw , to which it was also subordinated as a suffragan diocese.
