Titular diocese of Hólar

The Diocese of Hólar ( Italian : diocesi di Hólar , Latin Dioecesis Holarensis ) is a titular diocese of the Roman Catholic Church founded in 1929 .

It goes back to a lost bishopric in the Icelandic town of the same name Hólar . The bishopric was assigned to the ecclesiastical province of Nidaros .
