Sprötzer Bach in Kakenstorf

The Sprötzer Bach is a 3.5 km long brook in the municipality of Kakenstorf and the Buchholz district of Sprötze in the district of Harburg in Lower Saxony , which flows into the Este from the right and east .

course

The Sprötzer Bach rises in the Sprötze district of Buchholz on Schmiedegasse . In a westerly direction, clearly straightened, it flows through a narrow meadow area, lined with houses on both sides. It picks up the Trelder Bach from the right and north and crosses under the K 45 in a depression in the road. The brook flows on through slightly boggy forest, past the Kakenstorf archery range, through the village of Kakenstorf . Within Kakenstorf, the creek flows 280 m in length through a meadow that belongs to the Buchholz city area, while the area around the meadow belongs to the municipality of Kakenstorf, before it flows into the Este from the right and east.

Status

The Sprötzer Bach is moderately polluted throughout its course (quality class II).

Traffic rules

Due to the intensive use of the Estonians by recreational sports and canoe rental companies, the Harburg district issued an ordinance in 2002 for the Estonians, their backwaters and the associated bank areas, which is intended to protect the habitat of plants and animals. Since then, driving and entering the Sprötzer Bach is prohibited all year round.
